Job Title: Registered Massage Therapist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Massage Therapist to join our team at Paragon Physiotherapy.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality massage therapy services to clients, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans, and maintaining accurate records of treatments given.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer massage techniques to alleviate pain and discomfort, using soft tissue manipulation, relaxation techniques, and other modalities as needed.
  • Consult with clients to understand their needs and goals, and develop personalized treatment plans to achieve optimal results.
  • Maintain accurate records of treatments given, including client progress and any relevant notes or observations.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans that address the client's overall health and well-being.
  • Provide education and guidance to clients on self-care techniques and strategies to maintain optimal health and prevent future injuries or conditions.
Requirements:
  • Registration with a provincial or territorial association for massage therapists.
  • Experience working with clients with a variety of conditions and needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and other healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and provide clear, concise documentation.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
