Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Web Design Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading website design projects, overseeing the conceptualization and creation of website designs, and ensuring they align with brand guidelines and user experience best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Lead website design projects, create wireframes and mockups, and focus on user interface and experience.
  • Collaboration and Leadership: Supervise junior designers, provide feedback, and ensure that all design work meets high standards of quality.
  • Strategy and Planning: Contribute to the overall design strategy of the organization, ensuring that all digital products adhere to the latest design trends and user behavior.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct or oversee user testing and gather feedback to refine designs before final implementation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field such as Graphic Design, Web Design, Digital Media, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, or Computer Science.
  • At least 8 years of progressive professional experience in engineering, architecture, commercial construction, or marketing firms specializing in the marketing of professional services.
  • Prior experience leading and overseeing a web design team.
  • A strong design portfolio that showcases a range of projects, including web design, user interface design, and other digital media work.
  • Mastery of design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch, and prototyping tools like InVision or Adobe XD.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Ability to create effective presentations and respond to inquiries from internal and external clients.
  • Microsoft Windows proficiency including, MS Professional (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat and Creative Suite products, and typing ability.
