Job Summary

The Health Sciences Centre is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Security Officer to join our team. As a Security Officer, you will play a critical role in maintaining the safety and security of our patients, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Patrol hospital buildings and property to prevent and detect crime.
  • Enforce rules and regulations, and respond to emergency situations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a safe and secure environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum of one year of security experience, law enforcement, or military background.
  • High school education required.
  • Completion of Security Officer Training program or equivalent experience.
  • Valid driver's license and Manitoba Security Guard License required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to work at extreme heights for Heli-port operations.
  • Capability to handle emergencies and interact well with others.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Physical Requirements

  • Walking and physical strength needed for the role.
