We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven individual to join our team as a Year-Round Foodland Merchandising Ambassador. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for promoting Ontario produce and agricultural foods in grocery stores across your region.
Key Responsibilities:- Build strong relationships with produce and department managers to increase distribution and visibility of marketing materials.
- Develop and implement effective merchandising and display ideas to promote Ontario commodities.
- Share knowledge and enthusiasm for Ontario produce and agricultural foods with store contacts and customers.
- Execute brand priorities and ensure the Foodland Ontario brand is executed at the highest level at the outlets you cover.
- Measure and record display type and location of key Ontario products being tracked.
- Plan and strategically place point-of-sale materials to identify seasonal Ontario products.
- Previous sales and/or merchandising experience, preferably in the grocery channel.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds.
- Full access to a reliable vehicle and high-speed internet with WiFi at home.
