Job Title: Public Health Professor

We are seeking a highly qualified Public Health Professor to join our faculty at the University of Manitoba.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in the field of public health, conducting research in infectious diseases, and advising students on course and academic matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach and develop university courses in public health and related fields
  • Conduct research in infectious diseases and publish findings in reputable journals
  • Advise students on course and academic matters, including career development and research opportunities
  • Participate in interdisciplinary research and development projects
  • Perform administrative tasks as required
Requirements
  • Doctorate degree in public health or related field
  • 5 years or more of experience in teaching and research
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
