Job Summary

Pursuit Collection is seeking a skilled Food and Beverage Server to join our team. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their dining experience is memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide courteous and attentive service to all guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Answer questions about the menu, restaurant, and surroundings, showcasing your knowledge and expertise.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of wine, including pairing and sweetness levels, to guide guests in their selections.
  • Successfully complete all training programs, staying up-to-date on menu offerings, policies, and procedures.
  • Manage a full section, ensuring seamless service and maintaining a clean and organized environment.
  • Ensure stockrooms and storage areas are neat and organized at all times, maintaining a high level of professionalism.
  • Manage cash and float security during operating hours, administering your own cash floats on a daily basis.

Requirements

  • Thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy work environment, remaining composed and focused under pressure.
  • 1-2 years of serving experience, with a proven track record of providing exceptional customer service.
  • Appropriately groomed and willing to adhere to the restaurant grooming policy, maintaining a professional appearance at all times.
  • Customer service oriented, with a positive attitude and proactive approach to resolving issues.
  • Able to lift at least 15 pounds and stand for long periods of time, with the ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Pro-serve qualifications, with a strong understanding of food safety and handling procedures.
