We are seeking a highly skilled and reliable Floor Maintenance Technician to join our team at West Coast Floor Maintenance Ltd. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Equipment Operation: Operate industrial vacuum cleaners, power sweepers, carpet cleaning machines, polishing machines, waxing machines, steam cleaners, and power tools to perform routine maintenance tasks.
- Trash and Waste Management: Empty trash cans and other waste containers, and clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures.
- Physical Demands: Work in a physically demanding environment, handling heavy loads, and performing tasks that require bending, crouching, and kneeling.
- Work Conditions: Work under pressure, handle repetitive tasks, and work in various locations.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
- Experience: Experience is an asset, but not necessary.
- Language: English is the primary language of communication.
- Work Schedule: 32 to 40 hours per week.
