Real Estate Investment Director

Job Title: Director, Real Estate Investments
About the Role:
The Director of Real Estate Investments will be responsible for overseeing the management and direction of a diverse portfolio of real estate investments. This role involves leading a team to maximize property value and investment returns, as well as overseeing the addition of new real estate assets to Cresco's investment property portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize asset value and investment returns
- Conduct regular portfolio reviews and adjust strategies as necessary to meet financial targets
- Collaborate with team members to identify, evaluate, and recommend new real estate development opportunities
- Review market research, feasibility studies, and risk assessments for potential investments
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to secure and develop new projects
- Support the development and management of annual operations and/or project budgets for the investment properties portfolio
- Review financial performance, including income, expenses, and capital expenditures
- Collaborate to prepare and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders
- Build and maintain strong relationships with investors, builders, partners, and other stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, laws, and company policies
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
- Familiarity with real estate laws, regulations, and market trends
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in real estate investment and related fields
- Familiar with the design and construction of buildings
- Proven track record of managing diverse real estate investment portfolios
- Professional designations such as MBA, P.Eng, PMP, and/or CPM
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent analytical, financial, reporting, and presenting, and strategic planning abilities
- Outstanding communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to identify and capitalize on development opportunities
