Key Responsibilities
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees
    • Assist in facilitating access to community resources, language training, and skills training to support social and labour market integration.
    • Help newcomers and refugees with foreign credential recognition.
    • Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment.
  • Support for Youths
    • Deliver awareness training to employees to promote a welcoming work environment for youth.
  • Support for Veterans
    • Offer flexible onboarding options to allow Veterans to gradually adapt to the civilian workplace.
  • Support for Indigenous People
    • Facilitate access to Elders who can offer support and guidance to Indigenous workers.
  • Support for Mature Workers
    • Offer phased re-entry options for mature workers returning to work after retirement.
    • Provide workspace accommodations, such as age-appropriate ergonomic considerations.
    • Offer resources to help mature workers plan their retirement.
  • Supports for Visible Minorities
    • Apply hiring policies that discourage discrimination against members of visible minorities.
    • Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment.
  • Work Environment
    • Temporary work term.
    • Work language: English or French.
    • 40 hours per week.
