Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Gasfitter to join our team at Federated Co-operatives Limited. As a Gasfitter, you will be responsible for installing propane tank systems and related equipment for various customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Present a positive image in customer service while installing propane tank systems and related equipment.
  • Conduct scheduled inspections for customers, filling plants and service trucks, assessing potential hazards and reporting as required.
  • Operate a crane truck while following applicable standards during rigging, loading, securing, and transporting of tanks and other equipment.
  • Adhere to all standard work procedures/policies, industry codes, and regulations, with a high standard of safety in all operations.
  • Participate in an on-call program for emergency call outs on evenings and weekends to service customer needs as required.

You will work with other service technicians, propane drivers, and will report to the Propane Operations Supervisor on a team that strives for a culture of customer service, safety, and work life balance.

Requirements:

  • You have a Gasfitter A or B license.
  • You have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • You have or are willing to obtain a Class 3A license.
  • You are comfortable with physically demanding work such as pulling heavy hose equipment, moving cylinder tanks and other equipment with a minimum weight of 50lbs.
  • You are familiar with computers and/or electronic log systems.
  • You are a self-starter who works well independently with strong organizational and time management skills.
