Nova Scotia Health Authority is seeking a full-time General Radiologist to join our thriving group of 7 in our dynamic hospital-based practice. Our diverse practice offers a wide range of radiology services, including radiography, CT, fluoroscopy, breast imaging, ultrasound, MRI, and image-guided procedures. We have collegial relationships with onsite technologists, support staff, and physicians across various specialties. Our flexible work hours are typically from 8 am to 4 pm, and we offer opportunities for professional growth and development. We also have locum opportunities available.

Our hospital has inpatient beds and provides a range of primary and secondary services through in-patient, outpatient, and satellite programs. These include:

Responsibilities

Our duties include x-ray, ultrasound, CT, MRI, mammography, and some nuclear medicine. Light (non-vascular) interventional procedures would be desirable.

Expected Hours
  • Full-time, permanent
  • Flexible work hours typically from 8 am - 4 pm
  • On-call requirement
  • 12 plus weeks of vacation/conference time per year
Qualifications
  • All applicants must be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia
  • All specialists must be eligible for certification with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada
  • Membership with the Canadian Medical Protective Association
