About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Kitchen Helper at Milestones. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitation
    • Ensure all dishes, utensils, and equipment are cleaned and sanitized to the highest standards.
    • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware.
    • Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand.
    • Scour pots and pans.
  • Food Preparation
    • Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items.
    • Portion and wrap foods.
    • Keep records of the quantities of food used.
  • Inventory and Supply Management
    • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
    • Stock refrigerators and salad bars.
  • General Kitchen Duties
    • Clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
    • Handle and store cleaning products.
    • Remove kitchen garbage and trash.
    • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
    • Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit.
    Requirements
    • Education
      • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
    • Experience
      • Will train.
