Job Summary
Douglas College is seeking a qualified Academic Instructor to join our team. As a Contract Faculty member, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction to our students.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver course materials, including lectures, assignments, and assessments.
- Provide academic guidance and support to students, including office hours and online support.
- Evaluate student progress and provide feedback.
- Stay current with developments in the field of Philosophy and incorporate relevant materials into your teaching.
Requirements
- PhD in Philosophy or a related field is strongly preferred.
- Experience in teaching and academic administration is an asset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
