Job Summary

The Yard Coordinator will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our Depot in Vaughan. This position requires a strong leader who can coordinate the implementation of procedures and processes, manage inventory, and maintain a safe and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the implementation of all procedures and processes per Techo-Bloc's policies and requirements;
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries and internal/external business partners;
  • Supervise the work of Forklift Operators and ensure they are properly trained and equipped;
  • Verify that all documentation related to shipments is complete and accurate;
  • Support Forklift Operators in preparing orders and loading trucks;
  • Unload Techo-Bloc transports and store inventory in designated areas;
  • Conduct inventory counts as requested;
  • Maintain a clean and organized yard, adhering to company standards;
  • Ensure a safe working environment, complying with all regulations;
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Valid forklift certification (counter balance);
  • Experience with a forklift in an outdoor yard environment;
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills;
  • Strong organizational skills;
  • Ability to work independently;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment;
  • Experience in inventory management is an asset;
  • Computer literacy;

This is a physically demanding position. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds (23kg). Manual dexterity, teamwork, hand-eye coordination, and a combination of sitting, standing, and walking are required.
