As a Visual Designer, you'll play a crucial role in enhancing our visual communication, brand identity, and user experience. Your contributions will drive PressReader's success and provide significant value to our stakeholders and publishers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage visual aspects of Branded Editions products for partners, including custom HTML5 landing pages, native apps, and app store imagery.
  • Develop layouts and templates for new Compiled Editions products.
  • Create concepts, ideas, designs, and creative assets to aid in the sale and positioning of Branded Editions and Compiled Editions products.
  • Stay current on trends in visual design and conduct research to support design requirements.
  • Collaborate with the BE team to ensure products meet client needs, are completed on time, and align with the latest design standards.
  • Engage with PressReader's Creative Lab to ensure alignment with corporate brand standards.
  • Support and mentor design co-op students.
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of experience in graphic design, user experience design, or a related field.
  • An exceptional portfolio demonstrating innovative and broad design skills.
  • Expertise in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, HTML, and CSS.
  • Coding-level knowledge of HTML and CSS, including the ability to modify existing codes.
  • Familiarity with project management systems like Wrike or Trello.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A strong collaborator with a team-oriented mindset.
  • Proven adaptability and flexibility in responding to evolving project requirements.
  • A highly organized individual with strong time management skills.
  • The ability to develop innovative solutions to design challenges.
