About the Role

We are seeking a qualified Speech Language Pathologist to join our team as an Independent Contractor in the Home and Community care setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess clients presenting with a variety of communication disorders and swallowing difficulties, and develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Provide professional recommendations and support to clients, families, caregivers, and others involved in the client's care.
  • Complete Speech-Language and Swallowing assessments and develop individualized treatment plans that focus on achievement of client and family centered goals.
  • Provide written reports ensuring all documentation is aligned with the regulatory college and Bayshore HealthCare standards.
  • Participate in team-based collaboration regarding client care.
  • Demonstrate well-developed professional judgment and professionalism for working independently.
Requirements
  • Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Registered and in good standing with the College of Audiologists or Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario
  • Experience providing Speech-Language Pathology services to patient populations in the home and community care setting is an asset
