Job Title: Cleaning Professional

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaning Professional to join our team at Earthcon Cleaning Services Ltd. As a Cleaning Professional, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to ensure a clean and safe environment
  • Dust furniture and fixtures to maintain a clean and organized space
  • Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture to remove dirt and debris
  • Make beds and change sheets to ensure a clean and comfortable living space
  • Distribute clean towels and toiletries to clients
  • Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances to maintain a clean and hygienic environment
  • Handle and report lost and found items to ensure a smooth and efficient service
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Launder clothing and household linens to ensure a clean and fresh environment
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a clean and organized space
  • Wash windows, walls, and ceilings to ensure a clean and sparkling environment
Work Environment:

As a Cleaning Professional, you will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, interacting with clients and colleagues to ensure a smooth and efficient service.

Requirements:
  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking to perform cleaning duties
  • Ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) to perform cleaning tasks
  • Participation in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees
  • Support for social and labour market integration of newcomers and/or refugees
  • Recruitment of newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster
  • Support for Indigenous people, including cultural competency training and awareness training
  • Support for mature workers, including awareness training and a welcoming work environment
