Urologist Opportunity in Brandon, Manitoba

We are seeking a skilled and ambitious Urologist to join our healthcare team in Brandon, Manitoba.

As a Urologist, you will be responsible for examining, diagnosing, and treating urologic disorders, including surgical procedures, ordering diagnostic tests, and consulting with and providing urologic expertise to other physicians/healthcare providers as required.

Brandon Regional Health Centre has 309 beds, including 10 ICU beds, and offers a wide range of diagnostic services, including radiology, ultrasound, CT, and MRI.

Our team is committed to providing high-quality patient care, and we are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Urologist to join our team.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in one of our various clinics throughout the city, with a competitive overhead rate.

We offer a fee-for-service based on an agreement between Doctors Manitoba and Manitoba Healthy Living and Seniors (MHHLS), with income derived from all sources during the regular working day.

Additionally, physicians may be eligible to receive relocation assistance.

Brandon is a thriving city with over 51,000 residents, located 200 km west of Winnipeg on the TransCanada Highway.

It is large enough to supply all the retail, medical, educational, and cultural needs daily and small enough to avoid high costs of living and long commutes to the workplace.

We are proud to be a part of the vibrant community of Brandon, with a strong volunteer base and a wide range of education options available through Assiniboine Community College.

Our region covers an area of square kilometres, with a population of 169,760, and includes 115 towns and communities, including the city of Brandon, the referral centre for a catchment area of nearly 200,000 people.

We employ over 8,000 staff and operate 22 acute care/transitional facilities and 42 long-term care facilities.

There are approximately 170 primary care physicians and 67 specialists providing medical services in the area.
