About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Saw Operator to join our team at Wulftec International Inc. in Ayer's Cliff. As a Saw Operator, you will be responsible for cutting metal parts using a hydraulic saw according to mechanical drawings and instructions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Optimize cuts using plans indicating the shape, dimensions, lengths, and number of pieces to be cut
  • Verify that parts are available and determine those to be cut
  • Cut metal parts for assembly using hydraulic saw
  • Rigorously respect quality criteria, making the necessary verifications
  • Ensure the exactness of the cut according to the mechanical plans
  • Sand cut ends with various tools (band sander...)
  • Place cut parts in designated areas with crane or palette lift
  • Clean saws and work station, put away tools and instruments used
  • Inform Foreman of any problems that arise
  • Advise Foreman of any equipment maintenance
  • Unload delivery trucks with crane and store metal in designated areas
  • Is aware and careful of safety of self and others (health & safety)
Requirements
  • Able to lift and move up to 20 kg
  • Experience in a factory setting
  • Able to read a tape measure
