About the Role

As a Vibration Analyst at SKF Group, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing machine reliability and performance through predictive maintenance strategies. Your expertise will be instrumental in leading our efforts to analyze mechanical vibrations within our company's machinery and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and analyze vibration data across various machinery and systems.
  • Develop and implement advanced diagnostic methods for complex vibration issues.
  • Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to design and optimize machinery for minimal vibration.
  • Present findings and strategic recommendations to senior management.
  • Maintain and calibrate vibration analysis equipment and software.
  • Develop and oversee the company's reliability maintenance strategies and programs.
  • Analyze failure data and performance reports to identify trends and implement long-term solutions.
  • Lead reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) and failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) initiatives.
  • Maintain reliability software and databases for accurate data collection and analysis.
  • Conduct training for staff on reliability principles and practices.
  • Implement energy management programs to reduce consumption and improve efficiency.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (preferred) or related technical field experience.
  • Certification in Vibration Analysis (ISO Category I or higher preferred).
  • Professional certification in reliability, such as CMRP or CRL.
  • Extensive experience in maintenance and reliability within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in reliability software and predictive maintenance technologies.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and team-building abilities.
  • Certified in other Condition Monitoring Technologies (Infrared, Ultrasound, Motion Amplification & Balancing) Preferred.
  • Strong in Microsoft Office 365 applications and other computer tools.
