Job Title: Small Engine Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Small Engine Mechanic to join our team at Terra Nova Resort & Golf Community. As a Small Engine Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing engines and motors, as well as performing scheduled maintenance service on equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and isolate faults on engines and motors
  • Discuss work with supervisor
  • Document inspections and tests made on engines and motors
  • Estimate repair costs
  • Review work orders
  • Adjust, repair or replace parts using hand tools and equipment
  • Test and adjust repaired equipment for proper performance
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service on equipment
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience
  • Or equivalent experience
  • Ability to distinguish between colours
  • Manual dexterity
  • Attention to detail
  • Hand-eye co-ordination
  • Bending, crouching, kneeling
  • Fast-paced environment
  • Handling heavy loads
  • Physically demanding
