Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Home Support Worker to provide essential assistance to clients in their residences. This role is crucial in enhancing the quality of life for individuals requiring support.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary school is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 to 2 years in a similar role is preferred.
Work Environment
  • Located in an urban setting.
  • Work is conducted in the client's home.
  • Willingness to relocate may be necessary.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide bedside and personal care to clients.
  • Administer prescribed medications as needed.
  • Assist clients with bathing and personal hygiene tasks.
  • Encourage and assist in regular physical activities, such as walking.
  • Support clients during meal times, including feeding assistance.
  • Prepare and serve healthy meals tailored to client needs.
  • Perform cooking duties as required.
Certifications
  • First Aid Certification is mandatory.
  • Personal Support Worker Certification is preferred.

  • Individuals with mental health challenges.
  • Persons with physical disabilities.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to bend, crouch, and kneel.
