Retail Store Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Gracious Hardwood Flooring. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Management
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales floor staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve sales performance and customer satisfaction.
- Customer Service
- Ensure that customers receive exceptional service, responding to their needs and resolving any issues promptly.
- Build strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and preferences.
- Inventory Management
- Oversee the receipt, storage, and organization of merchandise, ensuring that inventory levels are accurate and up-to-date.
- Monitor inventory levels and make recommendations for restocking or disposal of slow-moving items.
- Financial Management
- Authorize payments and manage cash handling procedures, ensuring accuracy and security.
- Monitor sales performance and make recommendations for pricing and promotions.
- Store Operations
- Establish and maintain a clean and organized store environment, ensuring that all areas are tidy and well-maintained.
- Develop and implement procedures for maintaining store appearance and ensuring compliance with company standards.
- Education
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail sales environment
- Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
