Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing nursing care in accordance with established policies, physician's orders, and the resident's plan of care. This includes assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care to meet the physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and social needs of our residents.
Responsibilities- Provide nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care to meet resident needs
- Ensure timely and safe resident transfers and discharges
- Manage medications and narcotics in accordance with protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) or equivalent
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
- Basic computer proficiency
- Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations
- Medical clearance, including TB tests, and a clear criminal record check
All staff are required to adhere to COVID-19 prevention protocols and wear a mask at all times.
