About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at Louisa Olowu Ewela Tosan. As a Home Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Meal Preparation: Cook and prepare meals for clients, taking into account their dietary needs and preferences.
  • Housekeeping: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for clients.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, engaging in activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
  • Light Housekeeping: Assist with laundry, ironing, and other light housekeeping tasks.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Asset Languages: Bini and Edo languages are an asset.
Work Environment

As a Home Support Worker, you will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, providing care and support to clients in their own homes. You will be required to work independently, using your initiative and judgment to make decisions and take action.
