Position Overview

As a Building Maintenance Technician at Concept Plastics Limited, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the functionality and safety of our facilities. Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of maintenance tasks aimed at keeping our work environment in optimal condition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Upkeep: Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs to maintain cleanliness.
  • Waste Management: Empty trash cans and other waste containers regularly.
  • Window and Surface Cleaning: Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings to ensure a tidy appearance.
  • Minor Repairs: Make adjustments and perform minor repairs on heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Contractor Coordination: Contact contractors for major repairs and maintenance needs.
  • Appliance Maintenance: Perform minor repairs on appliances as necessary.
  • Safety Checks: Conduct safety and security checks throughout the facility.
  • Seasonal Maintenance: Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas during winter months.
  • Precision Work: Maintain, repair, and calibrate precision measuring instruments.
  • Documentation: Document and report any deviations from specifications and maintain inspection records.
Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year in a similar role.
Personal Attributes
  • Dependability and reliability in performing tasks.
  • Initiative to identify and resolve maintenance issues.
  • Organizational skills to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position with a work schedule of 32 hours per week. The primary language of communication in this role is English.
