Job Title: Senior Technical Artist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Artist to join our Marketing Cinematics team at Electronic Arts Inc. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for setting up production-ready environments and presets on a game engine, ensuring our marketing assets are delivered to the highest quality and compete on a world-class level.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement efficient pipelines for digital content creation, ensuring seamless collaboration between artists and engineers.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality visual effects, animations, and rendering processes, leveraging expertise in real-time workflows and technical hurdles.
  • Collaborate with creative teams to achieve the final creative vision, providing technical expertise and support to ensure successful project execution.
  • Identify and resolve technical issues, implementing effective solutions to optimize pipeline efficiency and scalability.
  • Develop and maintain documentation and training materials for content production workflows, ensuring knowledge sharing and consistency across the team.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in digital content creation pipelines, with a focus on cinematics and real-time workflows.
  • 3+ years of experience with game engines such as Frostbite, Unreal, or Unity.
  • Strong understanding of 3D DCC tools, visual scripting systems, and source control software.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with 3D DCC tools such as Autodesk Maya, MotionBuilder, 3dsMax, or Blender.
  • Experience creating simulations in Houdini.
  • Knowledge of high-level coding languages such as Python, C#, or mel scripting.

We offer a competitive base salary range of $89,300 - $123,000 CAN Annually, plus a comprehensive benefits package, including vacation time, sick leave, and extended health/dental/vision coverage.
