About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Veterinarian Specialist to join our team at Hard Rock Animal Hospital. As a key member of our veterinary team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and delivering high-quality medical services to our furry friends.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and Treat Medical Conditions: Conduct thorough physical examinations and laboratory tests to diagnose diseases or abnormal conditions in individual animals, herds, and flocks.
  • Provide Medical Care: Treat sick or injured animals by prescribing medication, setting bones, dressing wounds, or performing surgery.
  • Preventative Care: Vaccinate animals to prevent and treat diseases, and advise clients on feeding, housing, behavior, breeding, hygiene, and general care of animals.
  • Conduct Research: Participate in veterinary research related to areas such as animal nutrition, healthcare products development, and disease prevention and control.
  • Perform Examinations: Conduct routine, emergency, and post-mortem examinations to ensure the health and well-being of our patients.
Requirements
  • Education: Degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry.
  • Work Setting: Private practice or veterinary clinic.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to handle heavy loads, manual dexterity, attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, and standing for extended periods.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, dependable, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, initiative, judgment, reliability, team player, and values and ethics.
