The Senior Specialist in Anti-Money Laundering Support plays a pivotal role in the formulation, upkeep, and oversight of the business continuity strategy, ensuring a robust and actionable plan is established that aligns with both organizational and regulatory standards. Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with management to implement intricate modifications within access management systems; assessing projects and initiatives as required.
  • Facilitating access management and administrative tasks for critical applications, including documentation, password management, and account unlocks.
  • Offering support to designated business units regarding Business Continuity and Problem/Event/Recovery Management frameworks, enhancing processes to mitigate potential risks.
  • Engaging in the creation, execution, and maintenance of Business Continuity Planning (BCP) initiatives and Recovery Strategies.
  • Partnering with relevant teams to ensure essential processes are operational during significant business disruptions.
  • Ensuring adherence to internal and external regulatory policies, while providing regular status updates.
  • Analyzing data to deliver insights and recommendations regarding business continuity risks.
  • Monitoring and evaluating the performance of the business continuity program, addressing any emerging issues.
  • Cultivating and maintaining effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Advising senior management on the development of Business Continuity, Problem/Event/Recovery plans.
  • Coordinating the implementation and facilitation of BCP solutions, including the creation and maintenance of business continuity documentation.
  • Participating in the development and management of the business/group Problem Event Management and Recovery Process.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to oversee the review, training, and testing of the business continuity plan.
  • Assisting the business/group with business continuity impact assessments.
  • Coordinating responses from affected business units as directed by the event management team.
  • Ensuring effective communication between business units and the event management team.
  • Confirming that all business continuity plans and testing comply with industry regulations and standards.
  • Working with technology support teams to ensure all applications that support the business are identified and tested.
  • Staying informed about industry standards and best practices in business continuity planning.
  • Exercising judgment to identify, diagnose, and resolve issues within established guidelines.
  • Independently managing a variety of complex tasks, which may include unique challenges.
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Typically requires 4 - 6 years of relevant experience along with a post-secondary degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Industry certification in Business Continuity Planning (BCP) or Crisis Management (CP) is advantageous.
  • Technical expertise acquired through education and/or professional experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent collaboration and teamwork abilities.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proficient influence and negotiation skills.
  • Strong data-driven decision-making abilities.

Salary: $54, $101,500.00

Pay Type: Salaried
