Our 90,000 square foot production plant is equipped with 8 production lines, specializing in molded novelties, bars, and truffles. We partner with the world's largest chocolate companies through contract manufacturing. We're seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team and contribute to our business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the efficient operation of chocolate manufacturing equipment by completing proactive and reactive maintenance requirements.
  • Perform highly diversified duties, including installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of production and facility equipment.
  • Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of equipment, structures, and grounds on the property.
  • Prepare, test, and troubleshoot all production lines prior to start-up in a timely manner.
  • Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to follow directions and communicate in English, both orally and in writing.
  • At least 3 years of manufacturing experience; strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and industrial skills with some PLC experience.
  • Previous food or chocolate production mechanical experience (automated production line and flow wrapper packing line) is an asset.
  • Experience with mechanical systems (e.g., gear boxes, chains, sprockets, motors, seals, bearings).
  • Highly flexible, with good interpersonal skills to work effectively in a diverse working environment.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Possess a continuous improvement and learning capability, being adaptable and open to change.
  • Able to work in a variety of environments, including wet, humid, particulate (dusty), cold, hot, and indoor/outdoor.
  • Able to lift up to 25KG on a regular basis.
Working Conditions

Day shift, Monday to Friday (Weekend if needed)

Compensation

$23.00-$28.00 per hour
