Job Title: Welder

Chrima Iron Work Ltd. is seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. As a Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating and repairing metal parts and products using various welding techniques.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret welding process specifications and operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment.
  • Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes.
  • Examine welds and ensure they meet standards and/or specifications.
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in welding.
  • Ability to work in an industrial setting and urban area.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with arc welding machines, gas welding machines, and spot welding machines.
  • Knowledge of welding techniques, including resistance, spot, or seam welding, shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW), and gas metal arc welding (GMAW).
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a fast-paced environment.
