Job Title: Solutions Design IT Specialist

Job Summary:

The Treasury Analytics Group (TAG) is seeking a Solutions Design IT Specialist to join the Wholesale Liquidity Technology team. The ideal candidate will have experience with big data technologies, including Scala, Spark, and Cassandra, and will be responsible for evolving the platform using the latest technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop big data solutions using Scala, Spark, and Cassandra.
  • Lead technical designs and guide other team members.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to achieve results and build strong relationships.
  • Develop a good understanding of Market Risk management processes in the Banking business.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in big data technologies.
  • 7+ years of experience in database management.
  • 3+ years of experience in web development.
  • Demonstrated experience in solution design at scale and leading big-data architecture and development.
  • Experience writing System Design Specifications (SDS).
  • Experience leading other developers.
  • Experience with development tools and frameworks such as Maven, Jenkins, Gradle, Git, and Nexus.
  • Knowledge of SSO, MFA, PingFed, OIDC, OAuth.

Nice to Have:

  • Liquidity experience.
  • Experience with JMS/MQ technologies.
  • GitHub Workflows/Actions.
  • Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure SQL, Azure Functions, Azure EventHub, and Azure Databricks.
  • Apache Airflow.
