About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Plumbing Technician to join our team at Ali and Ali Plumbing and Heating. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing domestic, commercial, and industrial plumbing systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and repair plumbing fixtures and systems in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to industry standards and regulations.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks, and waste and drainage systems.
  • Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors, ensuring accurate and precise measurements.
  • Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings, using specialized tools and equipment.
  • Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges, identifying and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to the required shape and size, using manual and power tools.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in plumbing or a related field.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, collaborating with colleagues and clients to achieve common goals.
  • Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects, working in a variety of environments and conditions.
