Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Junior Buyer to join our team at Magnum Trailer and Equipment. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for ensuring the availability of products to meet internal customer requirements, maintaining optimal inventory levels, and negotiating prices, delivery, and special terms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Negotiation and Purchasing: Negotiate and purchase inventory at competitive prices from our strategic vendors, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain item forecast parameters for suggested purchasing and ensure inventory turnover ratio targets are met for purchased products.
  • Vendor Management: Monitor vendor performance and build and maintain relationships with vendors.
  • Coordination: Coordinate job activities between suppliers and internal operational functions such as receiving and shipping.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of two years of industry experience preferred, or a combination of relevant education and experience.
  • Skills: Strong Excel skills, strong analytical skills, proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing English, and excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Education: Relevant education and experience.
