Job Title: Water Technician

ServiceMaster Restore is seeking a highly skilled Water Technician to join our team. As a Water Technician, you will be responsible for responding to emergency situations, such as flooding, fires, and mold damage, to restore properties to their pre-loss condition.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to emergency calls and assess damage to properties
  • Develop and implement restoration plans to restore properties to their pre-loss condition
  • Work with technicians to attend losses and perform restoration work
  • Manage all questions on site from homeowners/business owners in a professional and knowledgeable manner
  • Responsible for safety at each work site and ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety Codes and company policies
  • Document safety concerns and ensure all personnel follow OH&S protocols
  • Photograph and video graph work sites before, during, and after emergency work
  • Ensure water readings are documented at every loss
  • Submit accurate time sheets to payroll and complete all necessary forms
  • Provide up-to-date reports on job status and remain in contact with the Project Manager
Requirements:
  • Valid G driver's license required
  • Minimum of 1 year of direct working experience in disaster restoration linked to fire/water loss or related
  • Strong Leadership and Communication abilities
  • Proficient working and applied knowledge of demolition procedures and tear outs of affected areas in both residential and commercial buildings
  • Ability to remain calm in times of stress or chaotic situations
  • IICRC Certifications are considered an asset
