Job Description

At o9 Solutions Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Technical Architect to join our team. As a key member of our technical team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing large-scale data access architectures for our API, streaming, and bulk data movement solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and implement data access architectures for API, streaming, and bulk data movement.
  2. Collaborate with customers and technical consultants to develop big data solution architectures based on customer requirements.
  3. Work closely with our Dev, DevOps, and project teams to ensure the success of projects.
  4. Develop and maintain technical documentation and manuals for our customers.
  5. Mentor junior developers in the team.

Requirements:

  1. Master's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  2. 5+ years of experience in Big Data related DevOps, architecting large-scale storage, data centers, and globally distributed solutions.
  3. Strong experience implementing software and solutions in Cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP).
  4. Strong understanding of network configuration, devices, protocols, speeds, and optimizations.
  5. Significant experience with web-based APIs, preferably REST/JSON or XML/SOAP.
  6. Demonstrated experience implementing big data use-cases and understanding of standard design patterns.
  7. Familiarity with Machine Learning applications.
