Your Responsibilities:

  • Build strong relationships with local residents and businesses, acting as a trusted point of contact for all postal-related inquiries.
  • Drive sales and promote Canada Post's offerings, ensuring our customers have access to the solutions they need.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of your post office, adhering to retail hours and delivery expectations.
  • Oversee financial aspects, including revenue management, asset control, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with staff to ensure smooth mail processing, sorting, and delivery operations.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for customers.

Your Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent, coupled with experience in business administration is preferred.
  • Availability of suitable premises (accessible to all) within your community, ready for occupancy one month prior to employment.
  • Proven experience interacting with the public in a retail setting, handling sales transactions and cash management.
  • A solid understanding of postal regulations, procedures, and best practices.
  • Physical ability to lift mail containers (up to 50 lbs), push/pull boxes, sort mail, and stand for extended periods.
