Job Summary:

Pacific Academy is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic individual to fill the role of After-School Program Instructor. This part-time position will involve planning, organizing, and leading structured sessions for students in various educational and recreational activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and lead age-appropriate activities for children in the after-school program, ensuring a safe and engaging environment.
  • Supervise activities and maintain a safe environment, prioritizing the well-being and safety of all students.
  • Collaborate with other program staff to ensure the smooth operation of the program and the success of all students.
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance, dismissal, behavior, and program activities.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment, fostering creativity and self-expression.
  • Develop and implement educational programs that cater to diverse interests and abilities.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Passion for working with children and promoting positive development.
  • Previous experience working with children in an educational or recreational setting is preferred.
  • Pursuing or holding a Bachelor of Education, ECE (Early Childhood Education) or equivalent work experience/qualification is preferred.
  • Ability to effectively manage groups of students and adapt to varying needs and abilities.
  • Subject area enthusiasm and a willingness to learn and grow.
  • Flexibility and collaboration, with a commitment to working as part of a team.
  • Understanding of and commitment to Christian Education.
  • Criminal Record Check is required.
