About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Cashier to join our team at Macs Convenience Store Inc/Circle K Convenience Store. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Cash Register: Accurately process transactions, handle cash, cheques, and credit/debit card payments.
  • Process Transactions: Scan items, tabulate total payment, and receive payment for goods or services.
  • Provide Customer Service: Greet customers, answer questions, and offer suggestions to enhance their shopping experience.
  • Stock Shelves and Clean Counter Area: Maintain a clean and organized store environment.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and learn.
  • Work Setting: Fast-paced retail environment.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Familiarity with electronic cash registers and Interac machines.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Combination of sitting, standing, and walking; standing for extended periods.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, flexible, and a team player.
