We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team at THE SMART RENOVATIONS INC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality painting services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Surface Preparation: Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted, ensuring a smooth and even finish.
- Repair and Maintenance: Repair cracks and holes in walls and ceilings, and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure a safe and healthy working environment.
- Paint Mixing and Application: Mix paint to the desired color and texture, and apply it to interior and exterior surfaces using a variety of techniques.
- Wall Covering Installation: Measure, cut, and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls, ensuring a precise and professional finish.
- Customer Service: Advise clients on colors and choice of wall coverings, providing expert guidance and recommendations.
- Scaffolding and Rigging: Erect scaffolding and swing stages, and attach rigging as needed to ensure safe access to work areas.
- Quality Control: Inspect work areas to ensure that all surfaces are properly prepared and finished, and that all safety protocols are followed.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
- Language: Fluency in English.
- Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
