Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Front End Developer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing front-end solutions for our web and mobile applications. Your expertise in ReactJS and React Native will be instrumental in helping us create high-performing applications that meet the needs of our users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and build high-performing enterprise web and mobile applications
  • Participate in planning sessions to contribute technical insights and recommendations
  • Design, develop, and implement front-end solutions for web and mobile applications
  • Implement and advocate for best practices in front-end development, including code reviews, testing, and documentation
  • Debug and troubleshoot front-end issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions
  • Lead code refactoring initiatives to improve code quality, readability, and maintainability
  • Lead automated testing efforts, including unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests using tools like Jest, Cypress, or similar
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers
Requirements
  • BSc in Computer Science or BASc in Computer/Software Engineering or a two-year diploma/certificate in computing and software development
  • 4+ years of experience in the tech environment
  • Experience with ReactJS and React Native
  • Experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, ES6
  • Experience working with an existing design system
  • Maintaining projects in Git versioning systems
  • Experience with analyzing and optimizing page performance and load times
  • Worked with MySQL/MariaDB, NodeJs, AWS
  • Have a passion in web development and new technologies
  • Possess comprehensive proficiency in automated testing
  • Proficient in optimizing and debugging code
  • Team player with strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills
  • Have strong analytic and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with Agile and Scrum process
  • Familiarity with design patterns and programming principles and its applications

  • Contributions to open-source projects
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines
  • Familiarity with cloud services
