Job Summary:

The Retail Store Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining a high level of sales performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assign sales workers to duties and ensure they are adequately trained to meet customer needs.
  • Hire and train or arrange for training of staff to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their job duties.
  • Authorize payments by cheque and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Establish work schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels and efficient store operations.
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
  • Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages.
  • Organize and maintain inventory to ensure accurate stock levels and minimize waste.
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers to ensure efficient store operations and excellent customer service.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
Work Environment:

The Retail Store Supervisor will work in a fast-paced retail environment with a team of 3-4 people. The ideal candidate will be able to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
