Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Construction Site Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day activities of our construction projects. The successful candidate will have a strong background in construction management and be able to lead a team of workers to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the training of apprentices and ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their duties
  • Prepare and submit bids for new projects
  • Compile and analyze production reports to identify areas for improvement
  • Recruit and manage a team of workers, including hiring and staffing decisions
  • Coordinate and schedule construction activities to meet project deadlines
  • Collaborate with other project supervisors and managers to ensure smooth project execution
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and establish methods to meet work schedules
  • Review blueprints and drawings to understand project requirements
  • Recommend personnel actions and requisition materials and supplies as needed
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Permanent employment
  • English language proficiency
  • 30 to 40 hours of work per week
