Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Purchasing Agent to join our team at Canadian Helicopters Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for purchasing aeronautical products, managing suppliers, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source and procure aeronautical products from approved suppliers, ensuring timely delivery and competitive pricing.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiating prices and delivery terms.
  • Ensure all suppliers meet company requirements and are listed in the approved vendors database.
  • Review material requirements daily to ensure accurate and timely procurement.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Requirements

  • Experience in purchasing aeronautical parts is an asset.
  • Bilingualism (French and English) is required for effective communication with team members and suppliers.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel) and internet is essential.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills are necessary for success in this role.
  • Ability to negotiate and problem-solve is required.
