About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Psychotherapist to join our team at the University Health Network. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will work closely with clients, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to provide high-quality psychotherapeutic services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to identify client needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Provide individual and group psychotherapy sessions to clients with a range of mental health conditions, including trauma, depression, anxiety, and grief/loss.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement return-to-work plans and provide support to clients with disabilities/injuries.
  • Participate in quality improvement activities, research, and continuing education to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Health or Social Sciences or equivalent experience.
  • Member in good standing of a regulated health professions College.
  • Additional training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and group facilitation preferred.
  • Experience providing psychotherapeutic assessments and structured psychotherapy treatment for individuals with mental health conditions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary team environment.
