Position Overview:

Amazon is seeking a driven Entry-Level Software Engineer (SDE) to join our innovative team.

Role Responsibilities:

As a Jr. SDE, you will engage in the development of real software solutions while collaborating with seasoned software engineers who will offer mentorship and guidance on significant projects that impact our users.

This internship program allows Jr. SDEs to be fully integrated into their respective teams, contributing to meaningful deliverables. Your coding and design efforts will play a crucial role in addressing some of the most intricate technical challenges faced by Amazon.

Program Highlights:

The Jr. SDE role is part of Amazon's Developer Internship Program, a comprehensive opportunity that harmonizes work with academic commitments.

Interns will benefit from 1:1 mentoring throughout their tenure, receiving valuable insights from a dedicated Amazon professional on their team. The extended duration of this internship ensures that our interns gain substantial real-world technical experience.

We offer flexible part-time schedules during the academic year and full-time roles during the summer, fostering an environment conducive to success in both professional and educational pursuits.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Proximity to a location that allows for in-person work year-round.
  • Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Java, Python, or C++, including object-oriented design principles.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous technical internship experience, if applicable.
  • Strong ability to communicate technical challenges and solutions effectively.
  • Capable of navigating ambiguous or undefined problems and thinking abstractly.
