About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Solution Architect to join our Global Technology and Enterprise Platform (GTEP) organization. As a key member of our Solutions Integration & Delivery (SI&D) team, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality enterprise infrastructure services to support our business lines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical insights in the engineering and design of infrastructure solutions, driving forward our Public Cloud Acceleration strategy.
  • Harvest innovations from client solutions into design patterns for future use.
  • Foster technical vitality across the Solutions Engineering team by ensuring all staff develop comprehensive plans to increase their knowledge and skill level in public cloud IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS offerings.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills to confidently convey ideas and recommendations on solutions to both business and technical audiences.
  • Collaborate with Application Teams to provide comprehensive solutions across a broad infrastructure service area, including servers, Operating Systems, storage, networks, virtualization, middleware, and database platforms.
  • Architect and deploy full-stack applications in Public Cloud (GCP and Azure preferred).
  • Design and implement the end-to-end migration of applications from an internal on-prem data center to the Public Cloud.
  • Work with Kubernetes (k8s), CI/CD pipeline, and infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) toolset.
  • Influence staff and senior management to promote a high level of understanding and acceptance of the risks, issues, and practices of outsourcing and cloud-based services.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of technical working experience in working closely with Application Teams.
  • 4+ years of hands-on technical working experience in architecting and deploying full-stack applications in Public Cloud.
  • 4+ years of hands-on technical working experience in the end-to-end design, planning, and implementation of the migration of applications from an internal on-prem data center to the Public Cloud.
  • 2+ years of hands-on technical working experience with Kubernetes (k8s), CI/CD pipeline, and infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) toolset.
  • Post-secondary education in Computer Science or Engineering or a relevant field.
  • Public Cloud Architect certification (GCP and/or Azure and/or AWS) is an asset.
