Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at 102667 PEI INC. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a high level of quality and customer satisfaction.
- Food Service Management
- Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies, estimating ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation.
- Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys to ensure timely and efficient service.
- Customer Service
- Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Administrative Tasks
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Prepare and submit reports to management.
- Education
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
- Physical Demands
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Personal Qualities
- Flexibility and ability to work as part of a team.
The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced food service environment with a high level of customer interaction. The ability to work in a team environment and maintain a high level of quality and customer satisfaction is essential.
