Welder Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Welder to join our team at Chrima Iron Work Ltd.. This role is essential in ensuring the integrity and quality of our metal fabrication projects.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school education
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year and up to 2 years in welding
Work Environment
  • Industrial setting

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret and apply welding process specifications
  • Utilize manual or semi-automatic welding machinery
  • Read and understand welding blueprints, drawings, and technical manuals
  • Inspect welds to confirm compliance with standards
  • Operate flame-cutting tools
  • Fit, braze, and perform torch-straightening on metals
  • Handle hoisting and lifting equipment
  • Conduct minor maintenance and repairs on welding equipment
