Job Title: Transport Truck Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Transport Truck Mechanic to join our team at Groupe J.F. Nadeau Inc. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and safety of our fleet of commercial transport trucks.

Responsibilities:
  • Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems
  • Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of truck-trailer systems
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent mechanical failures
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical issues
Requirements:
  • Registered Apprenticeship certificate or equivalent experience
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field
  • Valid driver's license and own transportation
  • Steel-toed safety boots and other personal protective equipment
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Work Environment:

Our garage is a fast-paced and dynamic work environment where you will be exposed to dusty, dirty, and noisy conditions. As a Transport Truck Mechanic, you must be able to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines and achieve goals.
